Maar dit onderzoek van de Amerikaanse Vanderbilt Universiteit laat zien dat de snelheid waarmee je loopt minstens zo belangrijk is als de duur.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-niet-lang-maar-snel-wandelen-nbsp\">Niet lang, maar snel wandelen\u00a0<\/h2>\n<p>Zo blijkt dat dagelijks 15 minuten stevig wandelen een <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedaily.com\/releases\/2025\/07\/250729001211.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">grotere impact heeft op je levensverwachting<\/a> dan urenlang langzaam sjokken. Zelfs mensen die al aan lichte lichaamsbeweging doen, kunnen hun gezondheid nog verder verbeteren, door er wat stevig wandelwerk aan toe te voegen.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"frame-block\">\n<div class=\"frame-block__container \">\n<h3 class=\"frame-block__title\">Best gelezen artikelen van dit moment<\/h3>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/aside>\n<p>De voordelen zitten vooral in de bescherming tegen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.metronieuws.nl\/lifestyle\/fit-gezond\/2024\/12\/mannen-artsen-hart-en-vaatziekten-veertigste\/\">hart- en vaatziekten<\/a>. Stevig wandelen verhoogt de effici\u00ebntie van het hart, helpt bij het reguleren van bloeddruk en cholesterol en draagt bij aan een gezond lichaamsgewicht.<\/p>\n<p>Dat maakt het volgens de onderzoekers een laagdrempelige en betaalbare manier van bewegen, die voor bijna iedereen haalbaar is. Ook wie geen toegang heeft tot een sportschool of gezond eten, kan baat hebben bij een dagelijkse wandeling in hoog tempo.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Simpele manieren om de gezondheid te verbeteren\u00a0<\/h2>\n<p>Het onderzoek richtte zich specifiek op deelnemers die minder te besteden hebben. Want deze groep mensen wordt volgens de onderzoekers vaak niet meegenomen in wetenschappelijke onderzoeken.
